Queen Lil Souvenir
My Blog
Our 3rd Homebred Queen, a Shorthair Pixiebob
This Girl was such a chunk at 2 weeks you would not believe. So much so she rolled her way around rather than crawled. She was by far double the size of all her brothers and sisters and her pale blonde colour bear like face and fantastic eyes meant she was never leaving us! I knew her name had to be something that represented fond memories of previous times and some thing that you kept and treasured. The name Lil Souvenir was just perfect for her, by the time she was 5 months her huge size had become somewhat little and the name became very fitting.. I wondered how such a huge kitten could be so petite. But it was short lived, she put a sprut on and is now almost as big as some of my 3 year old females. So once again shes become big, now not a podgy kitten but a long-legged and muscular blonde beauty, with deep set eyes and a fantastic muzzle.
We'd like to think we can find a really rugged wild looking boy for Lily in 2012, to compliment her great but somewhat refined features. For now she is enjoying her growing up year with the other girls I kept from 2010 matings. Lily just wants to be with you all the time and as soon as you can blink she is in her favourite place, wrapped around my neck or perched on my shoulder. She simply adores (or rather obsesses with) feather toys just like her mum.
